Goldie Ann Ford
1925 - 2007



GOLDIE ANN WALLACE FORD, 78, of Huntington, passed away, Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Hospice House of Huntington. She was born October 7, 1925 in Cabell County, the daughter of the late John E. and Zelma Holley Wallace. She is the widow of Robert Lee Ford. She is survived by her daughters, Anita Burton, of Milton; Juanita Holton and husband Eddie of Milton; and Ellen Conley of Ashland KY; sons, Windell Wallace and wife Bonnie of Barboursville; Lonnie Ford, Barboursville; James Ford and wife Anna of Ona, WV; sister, Melva Feris Chesapeake, OH. A very special Niece, Sissy Wyatt and a long time friend and companion, Howard Plymale, both of Huntington. Goldie has 13 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Goldie was preceded in death by four sisters, Ada Birch, Vesta Clevenger, Esta Bell Cremeans, Frances Thompson, six brothers, William Cremeans, Orville Wallace, Lonnie Wallace, Charles Wallace, Culvie Wallace and George Wallace. Goldie was Baptist by Faith.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, 2007, 6-9pm at HENSON MORTUARY, Barboursville. Funeral Services will be Sunday, April 22, 2007 at 1:00pm at HENSON MORTUARY, with Rev. Mike Ash and Rev. Patricia Easthom officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Sulphur Cemetery, Ona West Virginia. HENSON MORTUARY is in charge of arraignments and assisting the family.
