Born January 13, 1924, to Charles R. & Ella McComas Bias- (Deceased. He was a retired retired, Building Contractor. Survived by his wife, Alice Pannell Bias, (1) Son & Dau.in.Law Harold & Becky Bias- Barboursville, (2) Daughters & (1) Son-in-Law Margaret (Peggy) & Jerome Blatt- Huntington, Phyllis Johnson- Barboursville, (8) Grandchildren- Jeff Johnson, Lisa & Chris Robson, Ryan Bias- Barboursville, Aaron & Amy Bias- Columbus, Ohio, Christopher Blatt- Pittsburgh, Pa, Leigh Ann & David Norris, Seth Blatt, Jeremy Blatt- Huntington, (2) Great-Grandchildren- Olivia Johnson- Barboursville, Ethan Bias- Columbus, Step grandson- Kyle Robson, The arrival of William Gray Robson is expected December 25, 2007. Sister- Martha Dodds- Barboursville Preceded by; Sister- Mary Elizabeth Clay, Brother- Robert Lee Bias. C.W. was a faithful member of Olive Baptist Church where he served as Trustee & Deacon, Was a member of Gideon�s International, Was a Avid Fisherman & Golfer, former member of Rivera Golf Club. He was a building contractor and built numerous houses and apartments in the Barboursville & Huntington Community. He built Olive Baptist Church and the sanctuary of Barboursville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at Olive Baptist Church, 11:00A.M. Revs Gordon Rutherford & Dale Rulen officiating. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was a Veteran WW II, U.S. Navy, he joined the day after Pearl Harbor. Visitation will be Monday, August 20, 2007, 6-9P.M. at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, and 1 hour before service at the church. Family would like to express thanks to Hospice and caregivers Deborah Hamlin, Violet Walters, & Paula Blankenship.
