ObituaryIshmael Hansford
Hayner ISHMAEL HANSFORD HAYNER, 95, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007, in Mercy Hospital, Fairfield Ohio. He was born January 6, 1912 the son of the late Hansford H. and Mytrle Lee McComas Hayner, in Milton, WV. He was a retired Quality Control worker for Ownens-Illinois in Huntington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Honey Ward Hayner, Dr. Jerry Hayner, one sister and two brothers. He is survived by three brothers, Robert Haynes, of Ashville, NC, James Hayner, of Nashville, TN, and J. Edward Hayner, of Westchester, Ohio. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was a member of Westmoreland Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for forty five years. The family wishes to give special thanks to Hawthorne Glen, Mercy Hospital South and especially to friends and fellow church-members Bob Hall, Tom Wood and Charles Daggert. Funeral services will be held, 12:00pm, Saturday, June 23, 2007 at the Westmoreland Baptist Church with visitation being one hour before the service at 11:00pm. Officiating will be the Rev. C.J. Adkins. Burial will follow at the Springhill Cemetery.
