Donald Gray Mason
1927 - 2008

DONALD GREY MASON, 80, of Barboursville, West Virginia, passed away, Friday, August 22, 2008 at his residence. He was born October 11, 1927, in Ferrum, Virginia, to the late Able Grey and Roxie Buckner Mason Prillaman. He retired as president of Guyan National Bank, Barboursville and was a former president of the Cabell County Fair and was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a step-father, Clyde E. Prillaman.. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, D. Grey Jr. and Bonnie Mason, Barboursville, two daughters and son-in-laws, Nancy E. and Paul Smith, E. Kay and Mike Whitt, Barboursville; six grandchildren, Ashley D. Smith, Amy N. Nash, Andrew G. Mason, Shannon K. Whitt, Steven E. Mason and Billy M. Whitt; and two great-grandchildren, Brynn and Hayden Smith. Funeral services will be conducted at 4p.m., Monday at HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE with Dr. David Lemming officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. HENSON MORTUARY, BARBOURSVILLE is in charge of arrangements.
