Marian Virginia Perry Bell
1915 - 2008



MARIAN VIRGINIA PERRY BELL, 92, of Barboursville and Huntington, formerly of Logan, WV, died peacefully in her sleep at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Virginia was born May 10, 1915, to the late Edwin (Ed) and Vida Perry of Barboursville, WV. She was a member of Highlawn Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermie B. Bell; a son, Ronald E. Bell; a grandson, Gregory L. Mann; four sisters, Mollie LeRoy, Lora Rogers Bird, Eva Hill, Rena Halley; and five brothers, Connie, Luther, Alfred, Harry, and Lonnie Perry.

She is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Roberta (Bobbie) and Lyle Mann of Milton, Loretta Sue and Jim Richards of Huntington; and one son and his spouse, William (Bill) and Ruth Bell of Ona; a daughter-in-law and her spouse, Connie and Gary McLaughlin of Charleston; six grandchildren, Valerie Mann of Milton, David (Donna) Richards of Goodlettsville, TN, Cindy (Brian) Sheedy of Port St. Lucie, FL, Derrick (Romona) Bell of Ona, Dawn (Kenny) Nance of Barboursville, and Kelli Bell of Barboursville; 10 great-grandchildren, Jamie and Cole Seaton, Emily, Amber, Cassie, and Caleb White, Jacob and Elizabeth Nance, all of Barboursville, WV, Ginnie Maxwell of Mt. Juliett, TN, and Jeremy Tomes of Huntsville, AL; one great-great grandchild Addison Tomes of Huntsville, AL; two brothers, Earl and Eloise Perry of Barboursville, and Francis (Bus) and Louise Perry of San Diego, CA; and very special caregivers John and Gloria White of Barboursville, WV.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, January 18, 2008, at HENSON MORTUARY by Minister Danny Evans. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM, Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Mortuary. Pallbearers will be, Derrick Bell, David Richards, Cole Seaton, Michael Seaton, Tyler Christian, and Gary McLaughlin.

Flowers will be appreciated, however, contributions may be made to Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice house of Huntington. HENSON MORTUARY, of Barboursville is in charge of arrangements.
