NETTIE H. STUBBLEFIELD
(April 11, 1924 - December 25, 2011)

NETTIE H. STUBBLEFIELD, 87, of Huntington, widow of Sam Stubblefield, was called home by Christ to celebrate Christmas, Sunday December 25, 2011 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV with the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Huntington, WV. She was born April 11, 1924, in Huntington a daughter of the late William H. and Minnie E. Randant Harshbarger. She was a homemaker and member of Pea Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to her husband she was also preceded by two sisters, Sadie Harshbarger and Helen Hayes;  three brothers, Shannon, Garland Harshbarger and Ernest Swann. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Tim Dayhoff of Barboursville, WV; two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Stubblefield of Huntington, WV, Sammie and Brenda Stubblefield of Barboursville, WV; two granddaughters, Christy Gianettino and Holly Wilson of Columbus, OH; two sisters, Mary Saxton, Dorcas Moncer of Huntington, WV, a special caregiver, Barbara Poynter. Pallbearers serving will be David Groves, Bill Harshbarger, David Harshbarger, Shannon Harshbarger, Jr, Scott Saxton, Shawn Saxton, Visitation will be conducted on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 12:00 P.M. until service time at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV.
