DELLA MAYNARD BREWER
(October 7, 1915 - July 18, 2011)

Della Maynard Brewer, 95 of Barboursville, W.Va. went to be with her Lord, Monday, July 18, 2011 at Chateau Grove Assisted Living Center. She was born October 7, 1915 in Inez, KY, the daughter of the late George Dutton and Rosa Ellen (Bowen) Maynard. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville with Dr. Jerry Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Suncrest Cemetery, Point Pleasant, W.Va.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, William E. Brewer; three sisters, Mary A. Maynard, Hester Stepp and Esther Cooper; five brothers, Oscar, Carl and Robert “Bob”, Homer and Shirley Maynard. She was survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William Grady Brewer and wife, Patricia Ann of Ona, W.Va and David Dutton Brewer and wife, Annetta of Bridgeport, W.Va; five grandsons and six great-grandchildren. Della was a Christian for over 60 years, member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Barboursville, member of the Women’s Mission Society, former member of Eastern Star and former member of First Baptist Church, Kermit, W.Va. where she and her husband lived for many years. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va.
