Obituary
JOHN HUNSAKER, JR.
John “Papaw John” Hunsaker, Jr., 89 of Huntington, WV, passed away, Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Rivers Bend Healthcare Center, South Point, OH. He was born October 15, 1923 in Haymon, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jaunita Rosalie Hunsaker in 2010. He is survived by one daughter, Nancy Tomblyn (Bill) of Buckhannon, WV; son John Dale Hunsaker (Diana) Chattanooga, TN. grandson Michael Tomblyn (Marcie) of Tampa, FL; granddaughter Melanie Savage (John) of Hanover, VA; granddaughter Angela Patton (Tim) of Chipley, FL; grandson Chris Hunsaker of Chattanooga, TN; five great-grandchildren (Haylee, Hannah, Jonathan, and Rebecca) of Chipley, FL and Hadassah Savage of Hanover, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. John was an avid Bowler, a Cincinnati Reds Fan and his whole life was centered around his family which he dearly loved. He was a member of Spring Valley Presbyterian Church, a U.S. Army Veteran and member of the VFW Post #1064 and American Legion Post #16. Special thanks to Rivers Bend Heath Care Staff and the Lewis Memorial Baptist Church Visitation Staff. Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary with Bro. Timothy Patton officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville,WV. Friends may call from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
