AGNES BACK
(May 25, 1931 - January 30, 2014)

Agnes Tress Miller Back, 81 of Huntington, WV, passed away, Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington.  She was born May 25, 1931 in Huntington, WV, the daughter of the late, Charley and Agnes Byrd Miller.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Harold “Jiggs” Back and one daughter, Brendagail Back. She was a retired nurse from St. Mary’s Medical Center, former member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Chesapeake, OH. and was known to have a heart to  help anyone in need. She is survived by two sons, Charles Back (Natalie) of Old Lyme, Conn. and James Allen Back of Huntington, WV; three brothers, Bill Miller of Columbus, OH, Mack Miller of Ona, WV and Henry Miller of Huntington, WV; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Woodmere Abbey of Remembrance Mausoleum with Rev. Charles Moran of St. Ann Catholic Church officiating. Entombment will follow.  The Back family requests that no floral tributes be sent.  Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, WV is caring for the Back family.
