Obituary

SUSAN ADKINS
(August 3, 1949 - May 12, 2014)

Susan Jane Benson Adkins, 64 of Huntington, formerly of Milton, WV, went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 3, 1949 in Daughin County, PA. the daughter of the late Phillip and Jenny Sharar Benson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband , Lee Roy Adkins. She is survived by one niece, Nichelle Behrendt of Cheyenne, Wyoming and a host of family, friends, and church family. She was a homemaker and founding member of Lesage Apostolic Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville with Pastor Jerry Stickler officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, South Point, Ohio. Visitation will begin one hour before service on Friday at the funeral home.
