JAMES RICHARD LILLY, JR
(March 24, 1927 - October 13, 2014)

James Richard Lilly, Jr. , 87 of Milton, W.Va., passed away, Monday, October 13, 2014. He was born March 24, 1927 in Norton, VA. the son of the late, James Richard Lilly Sr. and Lois Robertson Lilly. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Jean Lilly and one brother, William Lilly. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Marjorie Sue Kelley Lilly of Milton, W.Va; one daughter, Cathy Lilly of Versailles, KY; sons, William Douglas Lilly (Michelle) of Greenwich, RI, Kevin Lusk (Tammy) of Ona, W.Va., Kerry Lusk of Scottown, OH and Kenny Lusk (Sheila) of Huntington, W.Va; grandchildren, Cara Moncer, Jason Moncer, Katie Riley, Carissa Lusk, Teressa Baker and Melissa Parsons and twelve great-grandchildren. He was a graduate of Dunbar High School, retired Mining Engineer working for C&O Railroad, AMAX Coal Company, American Insurance Company, a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Pacific Theater and member of St. Timothy’s In The Valley Episcopal Church. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 17, 2014 at St. Timothy’s In The Valley Episcopal Church, Teays Valley, W.Va. with The Rev. Cheryl Winter officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to Hospice of Huntington. Arrangements under the direction of Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville.
