Obituary

RONALD BELCHER
(November 3, 1937 - September 3, 2015)

A time when a hand shake and your word meant something. A time when standing before God and a preacher to recite your wedding vows truly did mean for better or worse, in sickness and in health, until death do us part. Standing faithful before God, your wife, and your children were more important than anything else. These attributes don’t seem to exist in this world any longer but they did exist in a man whom we called Daddy and Pawpaw. He loved his Heavenly Father and his family with all of his heart and served both his entire life. Daddy spent many years working in the ministry of the Perry Sisters as he and our mother traveled across the states sharing the message of Christ. He was also retired from Inco Alloys and was a U.S. Army veteran. There are no words in the English language written that will appropriately describe our Daddy. To know him was to love him…He was the son of Madgie Mae Hutchinson and step-father, Dick Hutchinson. Daddy entered into Heaven on Thursday September 3, 2015. We know our mother, Bonnie L. Perry Belcher was waiting with her arms wide open and a kiss for her darling husband. He was reunited with his Savior and many other loved ones which included one sister; Beulah Stevens Hutchinson; brother in-law Wilford Hutchinson; one brother, Raymond Stevens; one step-brother, Elwood Hutchinson; one step-sister Ruby Hutchinson Merritt. He is survived by two brothers, Glen Hutchinson (Judy) of Ceredo, WV and Robert Hutchinson (Chris) of MI. Daddy had many nieces and nephews that were very special to him. He also had a very close and loving relationship with his sister in-law; Diana Perry Gillette (Robert “Bob”), sister in-law; Carol Perry Markin (Lee), brother in-law Don Perry (Sherry), sister in-law; Shona Perry. His daughters Tina Renee Belcher, Tammy Belcher Underwood and son in-law Rodney will treasure their memories and never fail to share with his grandsons, Addison and Elias how amazing their grandfather was and what love he had for them. Daddy our hearts are forever empty but we know you are home. We promise we will see you and Mommy again and share eternity with our Lord. We ask that you join us in celebrating our Daddy’s life on Wednesday September 9, 2015 from 6-8pm and Thursday September 10 at 1pm at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary in Barboursville, W.Va. with Rev. Robert E. Gillette officiating. Entombment and Military Graveside Honors will follow at Docks Creek Cemetery in Ceredo, WV.
