Obituary
Oscar Noah McComas, Jr. 85 of Huntington, WV passed away, Sunday February 9, 2020 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born June 8, 1934 in Logan, WV. Junior never met a stranger and once you met him, you instantly became good friends. He had a positive outlook and always kept people around him laughing at his jokes and stories. He was a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from Jefferds Corporation in St Albans, WV and enjoyed traveling with his wife of 58 years until she graduated to Heaven in 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine, sisters Anita and Shirley, brother Tommy and his beloved Grandparents Wade and Martha McKinney, parents Oscar Sr and Stella. What a reunion in Heaven he must be having. He left behind four sons, Rick (Frances) of Huntington, Tim (Tracey) of Lexington, KY, Kevin (Deide) of Barboursville and Eric (Kevin) of Lavalette, WV; Seven grandchildren; Melissa, Lauren and Connor ( Rick), Samantha and Courtney (Tim) and Jake and Maddie (Kevin).Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in Lewis Memorial Baptist Church, with Pastor David Lemming officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at the church.
