Obituary
Norman Jackson Worley, 91 of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born September 11, 1929 in Barboursville, West Virginia; son of the late Albert Jackson Worley and Olive Ruth Bates. Norman was a retired welder with Great Lakes Steel. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Lou Worley; great-grandson, Corey Marcus Cooper; two brothers, Eugene Worley, Dr. William Worley; and sister, Rosemary Worley. He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Cooper, Pamela Melton, Jacquelyn Holley and Angela Stewart; grandchildren, Amanda Holley Acosta, Derek Rowe, Marc Cooper, Stephanie Thomas, Jennifer Nelson, Cheri Frye, and special grandson Zachary Holley; fourteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, October 9, 2020 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, WV 25705 from 12:30PM-1:30 PM. There will be a Committal Service conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Huntington, West Virginia with Bishop E.S. Harper officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the West Virginia Honor Guard and Milton American Legion Post 139. Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, West Virginia is caring for the family.
