Alan Robert Gordon, age 67, of Huntington, WV, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family on March 16th, 2021. Alan was born on September 4th, 1953 in Astoria, NY. He graduated from Newtown High School in 1972 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps until his honorable discharge in 1975. Alan worked as a truck driver for Florence Building Supply in Huntington, NY where he was a member of the Teamsters Union until retiring in 2010. He was a dedicated family man who willingly helped others when needed. Alan enjoyed cooking gourmet meals for his family and was an avid foodie. He loved traveling to exciting new places, learning about history and spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Constance L. Gordon, father Robert M. Gordon, and brother Paul E. Gordon. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Gordon; son Craig Stevens (Kaylyn), son Brandon Lemasters (Jennifer), and daughter Jessica Gordon as well as his beloved grandchildren: Gavin, Emily, Kendall, Xavier, Hudson; and Cousin Kaaren Hill (Dave).
