Raymond Dale Adams
(July 18, 1948 - December 16, 2022)

Raymond Dale Adams, 74 of Ona, WV, passed away, Friday, December 16, 2022 at his residence. He was born July 18, 1948 in Chapmanville, WV; son of the late Gillis and Mable (Ellis) Adams. He was a graduate of Chapmanville High School. Upon graduation, Raymond served his country as a member of the United States Army and was stationed in Alaska during the Vietnam War. He was retired from the C&P Telephone Company where he worked as a repair technician. Raymond enjoyed traveling to Alaska and Canada and was an avid fisherman. Due to his love of fishing, his friends gave him the nickname of "Fish head." In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by seven brothers, Clifford Adams, Bobby Adams, Don Adams, Paul Adams, Howard Adams, Larry Adams and James Adams. Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Patricia Ann (Lambert) Adams of Ona, WV; two sons, Raymond Keith Adams of Ranger, WV, Christopher David (Mary) Adams of Ona, WV; two grandchildren, Rhiannon Adams of Ona, WV, Ryan Adams of Lakeland, FL; three sisters, Linda Nord of Kenna, WV, Eleanor Cremeans of Medina, OH, Louise Hester of Texas; and special friends, Dan McNeely, Carroll Houchins, John Richardson and Roger Gore.
