Mrs. Patricia Stanley
(August 22, 1931 - December 12, 2010)

Patricia J. Stanley, 79, of Huntington, W.Va., met her Lord peacefully on December 12, 2010, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born Aug. 22, 1931, in Chesapeake, Ohio, a daughter of the late Garland and Jenny Gillen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie Stanley, and her brother, William Gillen. She is survived by three sons, Larry (Kim) Hanshaw of Yardley, Pa., Rocky (Mindy) Stanley of Huntington, and Greg (Angie) Stanley of Tampa, Fla; four grandsons, Patrick J. Stanley of Huntington, Christian and Zachary Stanley of Tampa, Fla., and Craig Eplion of Proctorville, Ohio; and sister-in-law Wanda Gillette of Proctorville, Ohio. She was a member of Highlawn Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 17, by Rev. Matt McKenzie at the Rome Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Highlawn Baptist Church Prime Timers Choir or Hospice of Huntington.
