Farrow Painter
(March 30, 1928 - January 5, 2012)
Rosalie Farrow Painter, 83, of
Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of Huntington, died Thursday, January 5,
2012 in Florida. She was born March 30, 1928 in Huntington, the daughter of
the late James Tully and Lillian Sturm Farrow. She was a member of Enslow
Park Presbyterian Church and the Emeritus Club of Marshall University. In
1990 she retired from Marshall University, where she was Advising Secretary
to the Seniors in the College of Business. Surviving are her two beloved
sons and their wives, David Frederick and Sherry Rood Painter, James Morgan
and Lisa Carroll Painter all of Boynton Beach, Fl.; seven grandchildren,
Rick, Emily, Katie, Shannon, Savannah, Shaunnah and the late Justin
LonCavish and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00
p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary by the Rev. Chris
Perkins. Interment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Friends may call
1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy
may be made to The American Cancer Society or the American Heart
Association.
