Carol Ann Katz
(September 29, 1941 - March 45, 2016)

Carol A. Katz, 74, of Huntington, WV passed away suddenly on Friday March 4th. Carol was preceded in her death by her husband Jerome Katz, her parents George and Anne Pidich, and her brothers, Charles "Chango" and George Pidich.  Carol was born in Monessen, PA in 1941. However she lived in Huntington for over 45 years and proudly called it home until the time of her death. Carol worked in the Insurance business for her entire career and had a real passion for serving her customers. A majority of her time in the insurance business was spent at Marsha Slater Insurance where she loved all of her customers across the Tri-State area.  Carol was actively involved with B’nai Shalom Congregation and taught Sunday school for many years. Her other passions included "Herd" football, her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, bingo, and of course her grandchildren spread across the country.  Carol is survived by her son, Myron (Rachael) of Chicago, step children, Mike (Lisa) of Scottsdale, AZ, Steve (Susan) of Gilbert, AZ, and Randi Curtis of Phoenix, AZ., and her eight grandchildren, Noah, Camden, Savannah, Madison, Jack, Jamie, Meagan, and Ashlee. She is also survived by her close friends Sandy Hallam, June Thompson, Mary Ann Bastin, Judy Jeffers and Marlene Goodman.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 10th at 1:00 pm at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary, Huntington, WV by Rabbi Jean E.
