Ann Elizabeth Caputi

Ann E. Caputi, 88, of Proctorville, OH, previously of Huntington, New York, died October 16, 2016. She was born February 15, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Hennessey. Ann was a graduate of Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn. She married Albert Caputi on April 24, 1948 and celebrated their 60th anniversary before his death in 2009. Ann was a member of St. Peter Claver Church in Huntington, WV for the past 10 years, St. Patrick Church in Huntington, NY for 40 years, and Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Centerport, NY. She was preceded in death by her daughter Catherine and son William Caputi, and her brothers James, Joseph, Matthew and Thomas Hennessey. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Hoffman of Huntington, WV, Marianne LaRocca of Asheboro, NC, and Thomas Caputi of Proctorville, OH, three grandchildren Jessica Perry of Fishers, IN, John Caputi of Lake Worth, FL, and Erica Suding of Liberty Township, OH, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at noon on Friday, October 21, 2016 at St. Peter Claver Church, 828 15th St., Huntington, WV by the Rev. Charles McGinnis, Jr. Interment of the cremains will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Huntington, NY at a later date.
