Obituary

Clyde Hale Workman
(May 29, 1923 - April 28, 2018)

Clyde Hale Workman, 94, of Huntington, died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at his home.  Clyde was born May 20, 1923 in Huntington, WV., son of the late John and Molly Hale Workman.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Workman.  He was a World War II veteran and served as a fighter airplane mechanic in Europe, Africa and Asia. He returned after the war to his hometown of Huntington, WV and met the love of his life, Charlotte Versba Jordan and married her.  They moved to Hialeah, Florida when he went to work as a mechanic for Easter Airlines. Survivors include two daughters, Marcia Workman Stone and Teresa Workman Dorsey; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He was a fine man, advisor and friend to all who knew Clyde.
