Eathel Yates
(February 22, 1929 - December 12, 2018)

Eathel Alma Yates, 89, of Huntington, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in  the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation facility. A graveside funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Wayne County, WV.  Eathel was born February 22, 1929 in Lincoln County, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Montaque McComas and Easter Miller McComas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Benny F. Yates and her three precious sons, James, Odie and Robert Ferguson and by a sister, Tincy Clay.  She is survived by two grandsons, Allen (Karen) Ferguson and Barry (Crystal) Ferguson; 3 great-grandsons, Aaron, Evan and Austin Ferguson and one great-granddaughter, Kenslee Ferguson; one brother, Milton Clay Jr. (Sue) and their children, Alan, Debbie, Ethan and Kathy and by one daughter-in-law, Martha Ferguson.  Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
