Shirley Kellam
(October 23, 1932 - August 3, 2019)

Shirley Keatley Kellam, 86, of Mt. Hope, WV and Orlando, FL, died August 3, 2019 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV.  Shirley was born October 23, 1932 in Beckley, WV, the daughter of the late Charles and Louise Bailey Dance.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands, Jack Keatley and Dr. Tim Kellam, one son, Charles Walker  and by two brothers, Joseph and Charles Dance.  Mrs. Kellam was a graduate of the Morris Harvey College and taught at Mt. Hope High School.  She was also a member of the Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lucinda Keatley Taylor (Wallace). Two grandchildren, John Wallace Taylor (April) of Raleigh, NC and by Anne Keatley Taylor Trexler (Coleman) of Richmond, VA; Two great-grandchildren, Vivienne Taylor and Charles Trexler; one brother, Eugene A. Dance of Lake Worth, FL.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 Noon on Friday August 9, 2019 at the Mount Hope Presbyterian Church with visitation prior from 11 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Hospice House of Southern WV.
