Margie Ann Chaney
(June 26, 1935 - December 21, 2020)

Margie Ann Chaney, 85, went to be with the Lord on December 21st. Both a devoted wife and mother and an active member of Open Door Baptist Church where she enjoyed the fellowship and friends she made over the years. She enjoyed gardening, growing both flowers and vegetables, but her greatest joy was raising her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul having been married 66 years, a son Marvin Dale, parents Henry and Ada Chatterton, 3 brothers (John, Emery and Ancil Chatterton), and a sister Mrytle Adkins. She is survived by son Paul R. Chaney (Julie), daughter Joyce Buchanan (Joe), son Jerry Chaney (Peggy), daughter Pamela Handloser (Jeff), sister Juanita Bailey and brother Calvin Chatterton. She is loved and will be missed by all her family including 8 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great, Great Grandchildren. We give many thanks to the loving caregivers that have helped us take care of our mother in the last few years. Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary is assisting the family. Due to the current Pandemic, services will be held privately for the family presided by Alan Dills.
