Vernon Buster Browning
(July 25, 1848 - June 21, 2021)

Vernon Buster “Rick” Browning, 72 of Huntington, WV passed away June 21, 2021 at his home. He was born July 25, 1948 in Chesapeake, Ohio; a son of the late Roy Ballard Browning and Catherine Moore Browning. In addition to his parents, his is preceded in death by a sister, Valeria Patricia Carpenter and one brother, Victor Browning and a sister-in-law, maria Browning. Rick was a compounder for American National Rubber. He is survived by 3 sons, Vernon Lee (Juanita), Anthony Wayne (Lisa), David Michael (Sheila) and one daughter, Belinda Sue Lowe (Greg); 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. And a special friend, Brenda Frazier. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary with visitation from noon until service time. Interment will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park.
