Ronnie Lilburn
Belcher
(August 27, 1942 - March 25, 2021)
Ronnie Lilburn Belcher, 78, of South
Point, Ohio died peacefully on Thursday March 25, 2021 in the Emogene Dolin
Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Ronnie was born August 27, 1942 in Logan,
WV, a son of the late Lilburn and Bethel Belcher. In addition to his parents
he was preceded in death by his brother, Cebert “Bo” Belcher. He proudly
served his country in the United States Air Force and went on to be a truck
driver until retirement. Ronnie loved to sing and play country music and
played in many places around the tri-state area. He was also an avid bowler.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Betty Belcher, his children, Donald “Deke”
France of South Carolina, Ronnie France of South Point, Paula France of
Huntington, Heather (Howie) Spradling of South Point, and two daughters,
Betty Ann and Rhonda from a previous marriage; ten grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren
Ronnie was loved by many family and friends and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends 11 a.m. Thursday,
April 1, 2021 by the United States Air Force Honor Guard and the Veterans
Honor Guard American Legion Post 16 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary.
