ALBERT DENNIS FULWOOD, 87, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away on March 12, 2010, at his home. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, March 19, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Spring Valley Presbyterian Church by Rev. Bonnie Boyce. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Albert was born on February 27, 1923, to John and Opal Phillips Fulwood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Lenora, two brothers Dorn and Emitt and two sisters, Reva and Sharon. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Angela Fulwood, Valerie and Cornell Stubblefield and Michele Rotan; grandchildren Dennis and Freddie Griffin and Kyle, Kirstin and Camille Rotan; a sister, Nadine Lee of California, in-laws Latelle and Newman Vaughan; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Albert was a graduate of Douglas High School, attended Kentucky State College and was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He was a member of the Masonic Alexander Freemason Lodge #2, F&AM and Abdul 133 Shrine Lodge. Albert was an employee of INCO for 20 years and was a Corporal in World War II, serving with the 761st Tank Battalion under General George Patton. He was a member and an elder of Spring Valley Presbyterian Church. Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
