Gregory Lee Stanley
(June 27, 1959 - March 19, 2011)

GREGORY LEE STANLEY, 51, of Lavalette, W.Va., passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Steve Grimes. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery, Cabell County, W.Va. He was born June 27, 1959, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Kay Stanley of Huntington and the late William T. Stanley. He was a service technician for the Northern Wayne P.S.D. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of seven years, Ann Stanley; three sons and two daughters-in-laws, Gregory Michael Stanley of Huntington, Simon and Katie Kilpatrick of Ashland Ky., and Jeff and Amie Kilpatrick of Barboursville, W.Va. He was special Papa Dogg of three grandchildren, Katelynn Ann Kilpatrick, Bradley Sean Kilpatrick and Isaiah Zane Kilpatrick; two brothers and sisters-in-laws, William M. and Gail Stanley, and David and Debbie Stanley, all of Huntington; a niece, Kristi Gibbs; two nephews, Michael and Dustin Stanley; and his special hunting and fishing buddy, Dwayne Wallace. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington. Pallbearers will be Simon Kilpatrick, Jeff Kilpatrick, Mike Stanley, David Stanley, Oscar Napier, Michael Stanley, Dustin Stanley and Ethan Kilpatrick.
