Obituary
Alma Mae (Patty) Akley,
85 of Kenova, WV beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother,
departed this life for her Heavenly home on December 28, 2012. Patty was
born May 1, 1927, in Lawrence County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Donald
and Vada Fulks. She was a faithful member of Kellogg Holiness Church of God
and enjoyed twenty years of wintering in Lehigh Acres, Florida. In addition
to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Jack E.
Miller, and one brother Lee Fulks. She is survived by her loving husband of
53 years, Mack E. Akley; daughter Jacqueline and husband Harold Perdue;
granddaughter Natalie and husband Tom Bevins; grandson Don Michael and wife
Pamela Perdue; great-grandchildren Whitley Mayo; Lacey and Savannah Bevins;
Madison, Jordan, and Aiden Perdue; great-great granddaughter Kaleigh Mayo;
sisters Freda Barry and Patricia Fry; brothers Jack and Paul Fulks; and a
host of dear nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from noon until
3:00 p.m. on Monday , December 31, 2012 at the Reger Funeral Home . Funeral
services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday by Pastor Roger Mooney at the
Reger Funeral Chapel; burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova, WV.
