Elizabeth Wellman
(January 26, 1929 - January 4, 2012)

Elizabeth "Betty" Fannin Wellman, 82, of Huntington, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at First Baptist Ceredo by Pastor Rodney Hale. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Garden. Betty is survived by her husband of 64 years and high school sweetheart, Eugene Lee Wellman; one daughter, Linda (Gene) Smith of Huntington; two sons, David Wellman of Huntington and Chuck (Lori) Wellman of Milton; one brother, Frank (Melanie) Fannin of Parkersburg; two sisters, Mary Francis (Don) Ward of Point Pleasant and Lillian (Jack) Patterson of Huntington; one granddaughter, Kacey (Ben) Johnson of Wayne; three grandsons, Nick (Casey) Wellman of Huntington, Drew Wellman of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Dylan Wellman of Milton; one great granddaughter, Emma Grace Wellman of Huntington; and one great grandson, Lincoln Johnson of Wayne. Betty was born on Jan. 26, 1929, daughter of the late Ada and Harry Fannin. She was a member of First Baptist Ceredo and was retired from Tidewater Supply Co. She loved working in her yard in Spring Valley and she loved spending time with her beloved family. Visitation will be from 11 am until service time on Saturday at First Baptist Ceredo. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
