Donald Ray Ward, 89, of Huntington, husband of Helen Dolores Fitzpatrick Ward, went home to be with the Lord on Friday May 6, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Wednesday at the Huntington Christian Church by Pastor Bob Huron and Pastor Jeff Wickert. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova. He was born December 26, 1926 in Huntington, a son of the late John Floyd and Zula Mae Perdue Ward. Don was a retired supervisor with the Economic Development Authority. He was a US Navy Veteran having served in WWII and the Korean War. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home and from noon until service time on Wednesday at the church.
