Ralph Leon Murphy, 85, of Huntington, passed away Thursday April 5, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Roger Mooney. He was born May 17, 1932 in Huntington, WV and was raised in Guyandotte by his late parents Dewey and Stella Mae Holley Murphy. He was a retired machinist with Hubbell-Ensign Electric. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Annalucille “Joann” Cooper Murphy and five brothers. Survivors include a daughter Carol Murphy Towne (Paul Towne); grandchildren Fred Wilson, II and Danielle Pennington; step grandchildren Amber Wilson Holley and Paul Wilson and eight great grandchildren McKensey, Kasey, Adilyn, Nate, Kylee, Ari, Grace and C.J. and four great step grandchildren Amy, Todd, Jessica and John.
