Obituary
Arthur R. Stewart, Jr., 75, of Huntington, left this world Saturday morning at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur R. Stewart, Sr. and Vivian Louise Poston Stewart, his brother Donald E. Stewart, sisters Betty Hite, Gladys Hughes, Helen Ferguson, Connie Spears and two sons Roger C. Stewart and David A. Stewart. He is survived by his wife Laura Turner Stewart, two sisters Wanda Taylor and Janice Geer of Barboursville, sons David McDonald (Nancy) of Pensacola, Fla., step son Scott Cumerlato (April), John T. Stewart (Marti), James Stewart, Matthew Stewart (Donna), a daughter Desiree, sister in law Pauline Stewart, brothers in law Jim Turner (Mary) and Malvin Turner (Renata), Gary Turner (Glora), multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Arthur attended Huntington East High School, served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Ona RC Model Airplane Club and was a lifetime member of the DAV. A gathering of friends will occur on Tuesday January 16 beginning at 10:30 am at the Reger Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow at May Turner Cemetery, Huntington.
