Eleanor Jean Adkins
(June 7, 1935 - January 1, 2021)

Eleanor Jean Adkins, 85 of Huntington WV departed to her Heavenly home on Friday January 1, 2021.    She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence George (Bubby) Adkins, her parents Bernard And Ammie Mae Wood, three sisters, Naomi Ross, Norma Jean Dishman and Kathleen Stewart and three brothers, Carl Wood, Pete Wood and Bob Wood. She is survived by her sons Richard (Tonya) Hagley of Chesapeake Ohio,  Robert (Sherrie) Hagley of Union KY  a grandson, Rob (Brittany) Hagley of Saint Augustine, Florida, and a brother Jim Wood of Huntington WV and her faithful companion Nikki.   She was an ordained minister, loved reading her bible, writing poems and helping her neighbors.  She will be missed by all that loved and knew her.  Graveside funeral service wil be conducted on Tuesday at 10:00 am t Spring Valley Memory Gardens.  Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
