Betty Mae Lucas
(October 21, 1935 - June 26, 2021)

Betty Mae Lucas, 85, of Huntington, WV passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center.  Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July1, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memorial Gardens. She was born on October 21, 1935 in Buchannon, KY the daughter of the late James Bascom and Anna Moore Nunley. She was a retired seamstress with over 26 years at Corbin Limited. She loved her cats, Socks and Baby, her family and was an avid Elvis fan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Oliver (Rachel) Murphy and Paul Nunley; and five sisters, Ruth (Frasier) Nunley, Freddie (Carl) Lively, Ruby (Herb) Chaffin, Kathleen (Harold) Debrul, and Laura (Tom) Noe. She is survived by her husband of 62 years William Lucas; children, Tracy (Everett) Justice of Wayne, WV and Stephanie (David) Wells of Huntington, WV; four grandchildren, Amanda Fortner, Sarah Ross, Kara and Katie Justice; five great grandchildren, Shelby, Cheyenne, Gracie, Emma, Dani; one brother-in-law, Don Lucas; and one sister-in-law, Phyllis (Bootsie) Lucas.  Friends may call from noon until service time on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the Reger Funeral Chapel.
