Obituary

John Henry Pellegrini
(December 29, 1954 - February 26, 2022)



John Henry Pellegrini, 67, of Huntington, went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, February 26, 2022. John was born on December 29, 1954 in Huntington, WV. John was a graduate of Huntington High School where he was a member of the golf team and competed in West Virginia State High School Tournaments. He continued to enjoy golf throughout his life.
John attended Marshall University and The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in OBGYN at Doctors Hospital of Massillon, Ohio, where he became the Chief Resident for OBGYN during his residency. John also worked in real estate development, establishing and developing The Woodlands at Barrett Hill in Cambridge Ohio. He designed the physician’s office he practiced from in Wayne, West Virginia. He also enjoyed landscaping and home design. He enjoyed watching college basketball and football. He had an immense love of music and enjoyed singing and playing guitar. John was a veteran of the United States Air Force. John is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Joseph and Virginia Rose O’Dwyer Pellegrini; one brother, Richard Pellegrini; and one sister-in-law, Christina Stephenson White. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Julia Pellegrini; one daughter, Gianna Pellegrini; his parents-in-law, Glen and Lela Stephenson; one sister, Patrice Pellegrini; two brothers-in-law, Sid (Joanie) Stephenson and James White; seven niece and nephews, Michaela, Margaret, Matthew, and Kate White, Sarah (Adam) and Jaxon Foster and Taylor Stephenson. He was dearly loved and will be forever missed by family and friends. Services will be conducted at a later date. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
