Obituary

Karen Ann Rucker
(October 22, 1957 - January 2, 2022)


Karen Ann Rucker (Eastham) went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, January 2, 2022. She is survived by her sons Cole Rucker, Ford Rucker and his fiancée Katie Hacker, her husband of over 41 years, Russ Rucker, her sisters Jane (Pat) McKee, Leigh Ann (Len) Eplin, her nephew Andy McKee, her nephew Samuel Eplin, her niece Abby Eplin, three great-nieces, Emilee, Addy, and Kelsey McKee, her sister-in-law Pamela Rucker, two grandPugs, Poot and Spud (Ford and Katie) who brought her much joy, and numerous cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy David Eastham and Jean Pack Eastham. Karen was remarkably headstrong and fought until the Lord called her home, and will be dearly missed by so many. Visitation will be at Reger Funeral Home and Chapel from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, January 7th, 2022 and on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from noon until service time. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Reger Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Docks Creek cemetery.
