ObituaryROBERT CALVIN McNAB JR.
ROBERT CALVIN McNAB JR., 94, of Culloden, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014. He was born October 13, 1919, in Roatán, Honduras, a son of the late Robert Calvin McNab Sr. and Hazel Kirkconnell McNab. One sister, Annie Laurie Saxton and one brother, M. Terry McNab, also preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Morrison McNab; his son Dallas M. McNab and his wife Heather; one granddaughter, Alaina McNab; a sister Lynn Younger (Buck) of Tampa, Fla.; a brother Carson McNab of Tallahassee, Fla., and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He grew up in Tampa, Fla., where he attended Plant HS and The University of Florida. He joined the UNITED STATES MARINE Corps and was a veteran of both WWII and Korea and served 14 years before retiring as a Major. He then moved to Culloden, W.Va., where he was President of Southern Public Service Company until he retired in 1999. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Wallace Funeral Home in Milton. A service will be conducted at 3 p.m. following visitation with Rev. Chelcie Gibson officiating, with entombment to follow at Valley View Memorial Park in Hurricane, W.Va.
