Obituary

William Irvin Chapman
(September 15, 1933 - November 19, 2014)

William Irvin Chapman, 81, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014. He was born September 15, 1933 in Cabell County, a son of the late William Monroe and Eva Jane Blake Chapman. He is also preceded in death by his wife Betty Jane Hodges Chapman. He is survived by one daughter, Brenda Seegmiller Hoffman (Philip); one son, Bill Chapman (Vicki); three grandchildren, Bradley Chapman (Jen), Todd Chapman, Tyler Seegmiller; two great grandchildren, Josh Chapman and Matthew Chapman and a special long time friend Jewell Fitzpatrick Webb. He was a member of Christ Temple Church in Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Jerry Ryder officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Friends may visit one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
