Obituary

Mossie Oweta Thacker
(April 3, 1920 - November 7, 2015)

Mossie Oweta Thacker, 95, of South Point, Ohio, formerly of Milton, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born April 3, 1920 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late James and Jerusha Johnson Beckett. She is also preceded in death by her husband Franklin Howard Thacker; one son, Michael Thacker and one grandchild. She is survived by three sons, Ralph Thacker (Patricia), Harold Thacker and Mark Thacker (Debbie); seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; and a host of other close family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Noon Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Chuck Elkins officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service on Monday.
