Shirley Ann Garrett
(January 30, 1937 - April 5, 2017)

Shirley Ann Garrett, 80, of Milton, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born January 30, 1937 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Jessie and Clesby Shull. She is also preceded in death by three brothers, James, Hansford and Raymond Shull; one sister, Lola Mae Shull; father and mother-in-law, Luther and Lori Garrett; two brother-in-laws, Luther Garrett Jr. And Charles Edward Garrett; four sister-in-law, Corba Ashworth, Faye Childers, Elsie Shull and Belva Shull. She is survived by her husband John Clay Garrett; two sons, Donovan Garrett (Madeline) and Dorin Garrett (Jacqueline); two grandchildren, Emily and Kayla Ann; three sisters, Sharon Call (Bud), Barbara Collins and Vivian Johnson (Talmadge); six brothers, Jennings Shull, Windell Shull (Linda), Darrell Shull (Connie), Lonnie Shull (Brenda), Donald Shull (Virginia) and Earl Shull (Lorine) and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Ted Nance and Pastor Ronnie Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Gwinn Cemetery.
