EUGENE "MONROE" INGWERSON
(May 4, 1928 - January 18, 2017)

EUGENE "MONROE" INGWERSON, 88, of Ona, W.Va., passed away at home Wednesday, January 18, 2017. He was born May 4, 1928, in Nehawka, Nebraska, son of Elba and Italy Plybon Ingwerson. He was a member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church, and retired from Teamsters Local 505-175 and JE Clagg Building Supply. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Lonnie and George; and his son, Michael, on July 25, 2016. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Byrom Ingwerson; daughters, Debbie (Richard) Weston and Terri (Lanny) Clay; daughter-in-law, JoAnn Ingwerson; one granddaughter, Carrie Meadows; five grandsons, Chris and Jeff Fetty, Jarrod Clay, and Kenny and Josh Querry; four great-granddaughters, Megan and Breyanna Meadows, Jennifer and Imaly Fetty; one great-grandson, Jeffrey DelRosario; and three great-great-grandsons. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Jeff Fetty and Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
