Edward Stevens Sr.

EDWARD STEVENS SR., 84, of Culloden, W.Va., passed away December 19, 2018. He was born July 4, 1934, in Logan County, W.Va., a son of the late Albert Fisher Stevens and Evelyn Nesbit Osborne Stevens. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Stevens, daughter, Debbie Starr, and four brothers, Robert, Jay, Pat and Ronnie. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Stevens; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joan Marie and Billy Betts, Melody and Henry Rakes, and Annette and Robbie McGraw; one son, Edward Stevens Jr.; two brothers, Jerry and Jimmy Stephens; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He served on the Navy ships USS Roulette, USS Cambria, USS Neuman K. Perry and USS Rooks. He was in San Diego, Calif., and the rest of the time he served in Norfolk, Va. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
