Samuel Raymond Woodrum

Samuel Raymond Woodrum, 79, of Milton, WV, passed away Saturday October 27, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Barboursville, WV, to the late Clarence and Sally Sam (Collins) Woodrum. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Peggy J. Hicks Woodrum. They reared 2 children the late Dwight "Rick" Morrison wife Rose Marie and Mitchell A. "Tony" Woodrum wife Rhonda of Barboursville; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jason R. Morrison (Valarie), Brandon Ray Woodrum (Rose), Brooklyn S. Thomas (Timmy), Lance Eastham (Cortney), Sharonna Fannin (Zach); and six great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Harvey; 10 nieces and nephews; two special family members, sister-in-law, Anita Woodrum and Teresa Woodrum mother of Brandon. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Lyman Daniel "Buddy" Woodrum. He was a lifelong carpenter and business owner, and loved by all. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Tommy Jeffrey and Pastor Tom Bottoms. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
