ObituaryDavid Allen Wallace David Allen Wallace, 77, of Milton, WV, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Thursday, October 13, 2022. He was born January 8, 1945 to the late Earl Emzy Wallace and Mary Alma Chapman Wallace. He is also preceded in death by his beloved buddy and grandson, Morgen Allen Arnould. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Sharon Cochran Wallace, and his ‘baby girl’, Laura Ellen Arnould. He retired from INCO Alloys International. David served his country in the U.S. Army, as well as spent many years serving as a Legacy Life member of VFW Post 9796 as Quartermaster, both locally and through District 5, and as a life member of the American Legion Post 187. He was a Council Member of Clan Wallace Society, a member of the Scottish Rites of Freemasonry, Mason’s Lebanon Lodge #68, and a member of Susannah Missionary Baptist Church. He spent many years in Pocahontas County enjoying better air and living as an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked on genealogy well over 60 years and developed special relationships with cousins from Lunenburg County, Virginia out to Missouri, and everywhere in between. He was a collector of knowledge, all things unique and antique, a woodworking master, and sharing what he knew to help enrich others. Graveside service by Pastor Steve Hinkle will be at Neal Cemetery in Milton, WV, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 2 p.m.
