ObituaryReba Jewell Stewart
Reba Jewell Stewart, 92, of Milton, WV, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1929 in Milton, WV, a daughter of the late Rufus and Sara Kinnard. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Carol, Harry, Lonnie and Levi Kinnard. She is survived by one son Gary Stewart (Patricia) of Milton; three grandchildren of whom she loved dearly, Nicholas Stewart (Sharon) of Louisville, KY, Hollie Ludwig and Heidi Paluszynski (Evan) of Jacksonville, FL and four great-grandchildren. She was strong in her faith and her relationship with God. As the epitome of love and a beacon of kindness, Reba was the matriarch of the Stewart family and a rock upon which those close to her could depend. Regardless of the situation, she always put others before herself and spread joy and warmth wherever she went. Making the world a better place with each day she lived and each smile, joke, and hug she delivered, Reba lived her life in a manner that cut through all the noise in the world and focused on those things that truly matter - family, kindness to others, and faith. An angel given to the world on loan, Reba was truly an extraordinary human being and a shining example as to how we should all strive to live our lives. She will be missed more than words can describe, but her love and kindness will be further spread into the world by those she touched. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
