Eva Rachel Linkous
(May 22, 1910 - June 1, 2011)

EVA RACHEL LINKOUS, 101, of Culloden, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Thomas Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, W.Va., with Pastor Doug Minton and Pastor Delbert Hawley officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, W.Va. She was born May 22, 1910, in Kanawha County, a daughter of the late James and Sarah Thomas. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Jennings Linkous Sr. She was a member of Main Street Church of Christ, Hurricane, W.Va. She is survived by one son, A.J. Linkous Jr. and his wife Sheila; one daughter, Emma Frances Quick; four grandchildren, Amanda Linkous, Terri Spinks, Kenneth Quick and Nancy Myers; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren and one on the way. Friends may visit from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
