Harvey Chapman
(October 24, 1924 - October 9, 2011)

Harvey Chapman, 86, of Barboursville, WV, died Sunday, October 9, 2011 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Harvey was born on October 24, 1924; graduated from Barboursville High School; served in the US Navy during WW II and lived at his Barboursville address since that time. Harvey's passions were his family, his work, his painting of cartoons, his friends and this community. Harvey's wife of 66 years, Virginia, survives him. His immediate family included: Virginia, his sister, Pauline, two sons, Larry and Rick, Rick's wife, Nena, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm noon, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Rd, Huntington, WV 25702.  Visitation will be after 11:00 am Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home.
