Elwin Lee Layman
(March 5, 1947 - February 27, 2012)

Elwin Lee Layman, 64, of Huntington, passed away Monday, February 27, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Dr. David Lemming. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. He was born March 5, 1947 in Cabell County, a son of the late Howard and Lorna Adkins Layman. He was a graduate of Barboursville High School, a graduate of Calvary College, Ky, a retired employee of Cabell County Public Library Huntington Branch, a member of the Trout Unlimited Fishing Group, a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church, and the Singles Group of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by his first cousins, Helen Hazelett, Pauline Gue, Jodi Hazelett, Sheila Pinkerton, Johnna Parker, and Bill Dolen, and many other friends, relatives and fishing buddies. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
