Charles William "Charlie" Adkins
(July 28, 1964 - December 26, 2013)

Charles William "Charlie" Adkins, 49 of Branchland, WV., passed away December 26, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Bethlehem United Baptist Church by Pastor Jamie Clay. Burial will be in Marion Adkins Cemetery. He was born July 28, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio, a son of Desmel Edward (Ebo) and Donna Hagley Adkins, with whom he made his home. Also surviving are his two wonderful children, Sonya (Adkins) Beckett and her husband, Andrew of Huntington, WV and Eddie Adkins of Salt Rock, WV, whom he loved and was so proud of them; two beautiful little grandsons, Gaige and Emitt Beckett, whom he loved dearly; one sister, Becky Adkins of Branchland, WV; a niece, Beth Fields of Wilson, NC; a great-nephew, Chase Fields of Wilson, NC; and several special aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, and after 12:00 noon the church.
